Instruction for Usage
STANDARD PROCESSOR CLEANING
WITHOUT RECIRCULATION SYSTEM FLUSH

1. Turn processor off, open valves and drain processor tanks.
2. Remove developer, fixer, and wash racks from processor.
3. Stand racks vertically in wash sink or wash area.
4. Set nozzle tip for foaming action and spray racks thoroughly with CLEAR IMAGE (foaming helps CLEAR IMAGE cling to surfaces and minimizes mist).
5. After spraying surfaces using foamer feature, wait 2-3 minutes, then scrub with a non-abrasive scrub pad.
6. Rinse racks thoroughly with water.  Product is Biodegradable.
7. Spray all processor tanks with CLEAR IMAGE with sprayer set for foaming action, then scrub with non-abrasive pad.
8. Rinse tanks thoroughly with water and close tank valves.
9. Install new developer filter if needed.  Replace filter cap.
10. Refill chemicals, reinstall racks, start processor.

Other uses for CLEAR IMAGE RADIOGRAPHIC CLEANER
To remove fixer and developer stains on mixer units and silver recover units:

1. Spray stain with CLEAR IMAGE with sprayer set on foam.
2. Wait 1-2 minutes (scrub with non-abrasive scrub pad as needed).
3. Wipe clean with damp cloth.

Procedure for Cleaning Developer and Fixer Recirculation System
1. Turn processor off, drain developer, fixer, and wash tanks completely.
2. Remove all racks from processor.
3. Remove developer filter and replace filter cap.
4. Close valve, fill developer and fixer tanks with water and recirculate for 30 seconds.
5. Drain processor tanks.
6. Set nozzle tip for foaming action and spray all processor tanks with CLEAR IMAGE, wait 2 minutes, then scrub tanks with non-abrasive pad (Foaming helps CLEAR IMAGE cling to surfaces and limits mist).  Rinse tanks thoroughly with water and close valves.
7. Fill developer, fixer, and wash tanks completely with water before adding CLEAR IMAGE.
8. Add 6 oz of CLEAR IMAGE per gallon/per tank and recirculate for 5-10 minutes.
9. To reduce procedure time, clean processor racks during time allotted for recirculation in step 8 (per instructions for Standard Processor Cleaning Without Recirculation System Flush; steps 2-6).
10. Drain tanks and rinse thoroughly with water.
11. Close valves, fill tanks with water and recirculate for 2 minutes, then drain tanks.
12. Repeat step 11 and close valves.
13. Install new developer filter and replace filter cap
14. Refill chemicals, reinstall cleaned racks, start processor.

Additional Applications:

  • Cleans most marks off view boxes, just SPRAY, WAIT, WIPE.
  • Cleans stainless and plastic surfaces.
  • Can be used daily to clean crossovers and squeegees.
  • Keep a bottle at every x-ray film processor for easy clean-ups.
  • On roll type x-ray storage bins, it can be used to remove stray marks extending life of plastic x-ray storage carrier.
  • Excellent cleaner of silver recovery units.
  • Removes most fixer/developer from vinyl floor tiles and counter tops.
